Visual Training
Visual training is a set of specific exercises and procedures aimed at developing fixation, eye mobility, coordinated cooperation of the two eyes, processing of visual information, integration of visual information with information from other senses, visual-motor coordination and the development of all areas of visual perception — the perception of colour, shape, movement, space, text and image.
Vision stimulation and exercises are planned individually for each child after testing, from birth to secondary-school age, twice a week for 30 to 45 minutes.
In addition to vision stimulation and training, it is very important to inform everyone in the child's environment about the quality and possibilities of their visual functioning, and to adjust the external factors that affect their visual efficiency — the level of lighting, contrast, distance, colour, magnification and viewing time.
